Survey Results

In December 2011, we conducted an online survey of biomedical researchers across San Antonio to ascertain their needs for help with drug discovery. Over 300 individual researchers were contacted with almost 50% responding (122) to our survey. 80% of the respondents were from UT Health San Antonio.

▸The capabilities of the CIDD would be a valuable shared resource for my ongoing research program and would enhance my prospects for funding.​

Result: Approximately 80% of the respondents (~95 people) agreed that the CIDD would be a valued core facility for current and future research endeavors and extramural funding.

Results: Approximately 28% of the respondents (33 people) indicated that they need the capabilities of the CIDD immediately. Within one year, ~65% of the respondents (78 people) indicated they would need the services provided by the CIDD.
